In Tuesday's league outing, the Cannon Cougars (Concord, NC) basketball squad felled the host Covenant Day Lions (Matthews, NC), by a margin of 58-50.

The Cougars (19-5) will now prepare for their outing against Charlotte Country Day School (Charlotte, NC). The Buccaneers go into the NCISAA Charlotte Independent outing with a 15-7 record.
