Texas High School Basketball - Gilmer ripped by Chapel Hill
January 10, 2023: Gilmer, TX 75644 The Chapel Hill Bulldogs basketball team scored 79 points and held the host Gilmer Buckeyes to 38 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Henderson for a 4A Region III District 17 contest on Friday, January 13. Chapel Hill will battle a Lions team coming off a 82-47 league loss to Center (Center, TX). The Lions record now stands at 6-17.
The Buckeyes (5-12) will now prepare for their contest against Spring Hill (Longview, TX). The Panthers go into the 4A Region III District 17 bout with a 7-12 record. In their last bout, Spring Hill was crushed by Chapel Hill (Tyler, TX), 66-32, in a league bout.
