The De Soto Wildcats basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Piper Pirates to 63 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Basehor-Linwood for a non-league contest on Friday, January 20.

The Pirates (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against West (Topeka, KS). The Chargers enter the non-league contest with a 6-1 record. In their last contest, West nudged De Soto (De Soto, KS), 51-50, in a non-league contest.
