December 6, 2022: Tecumseh, KS 66542 The Shawnee Heights Thunderbirds basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Piper Pirates to 46 in the Thunderbirds non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Thunderbirds now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West for a United Kansas contest on Friday, December 9. Shawnee Heights will battle a Chargers team coming off a 74-62 non-league win over Seaman (Topeka, KS). The Chargers record now stands at 1-1.
The Pirates (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Seaman (Topeka, KS). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Seaman was defeated by West (Topeka, KS), 74-62, in a non-league contest.
