February 7, 2023: Basehor, KS 66007 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Piper Pirates (Kansas City, KS) and the host Basehor-Linwood Bobcats (Basehor, KS), saw Piper's basketball squad hold off Basehor-Linwood by a tally of 64-61.
With the victory, Piper improves its record to 13-4 on the campaign. The Pirates host Turner (Kansas City, KS) to confront the Golden Bears in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 10. The Golden Bears come into the challenge with a record of 1-13. Turner lost 67-46 in their recent non-league challenge against Seaman (Topeka, KS)
Next up, the Bobcats confront the Leavenworth PIONEERS (Leavenworth, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 10. Basehor-Linwood will attempt to improve on its 4-10 season record. The PIONEERS come into the challenge with a 4-11 record after their 54-36 non-league loss to De Soto (De Soto, KS).
