North Carolina High School Basketball - Hickory trounces West Iredell
January 10, 2023: Hickory, NC 28601 The Hickory Red Tornadoes (Hickory, NC) basketball crushed the visiting West Iredell Warriors (Statesville, NC), 81-36 in Tuesday's league test.
The Red Tornadoes (13-1) will now prepare for their test against North Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC). The Knights go into the 3A Conference 51 test with a 10-3 record. In their last test, North Lincoln walloped Foard (Newton, NC), 90-54, in a league test.
The Warriors now own a 2-13 record. They play next when they host North Lincoln for a 3A Conference 51 test on Friday, January 13. West Iredell will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 79-74 league loss to Hickory (Hickory, NC). The Knights record now stands at 10-4.
