January 31, 2023: Hickory, NC 28601 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Hickory Red Tornadoes (Hickory, NC) and the visiting North Iredell Raiders (Olin, NC), saw Hickory's basketball squad overcome North Iredell by a tally of 71-60.
With the victory, Hickory improves its record to 20-1 on the year. The Red Tornadoes travel to West Iredell (Statesville, NC) to play the Warriors in a 3A Conference 51 challenge on Friday, February 3. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 3-18. West Iredell won 58-52 in their recent league challenge against Statesville (Statesville, NC)
Next up, the Raiders play the Statesville Greyhounds (Statesville, NC) in a 3A Conference 51 challenge, on Friday, February 3. North Iredell will attempt to improve on its 13-8 season record. The Greyhounds come into the challenge with a 2-13 record after their 58-52 league loss to West Iredell (Statesville, NC).
