River Hill Hawks (Clarksville, MD) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Glenelg Gladiators (Glenelg, MD), 47-38 in a league bout.

With the win, River Hill upgrades its record to 6-4 on the season. The Hawks host Marriotts Ridge (Marriottsville, MD) to play the in a Howard County bout on Friday, January 13. The go into the bout with a record of 2-8. Marriotts Ridge lost 74-57 in their recent league bout against Wilde Lake (Columbia, MD)

Next up, the Gladiators play the Oakland Mills Scorpions (Columbia, MD) in a Howard County bout, on Wednesday, January 25. Glenelg will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record.
