North Harford Hawks (Pylesville, MD) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Rising Sun Tigers (North East, MD), 47-38 in a league bout.

With the victory, North Harford upgrades its record to 4-5 on the campaign. The Hawks host Joppatowne (Joppa, MD) to play the Mariners in a Upper Chesapeake Bay - Susquehanna bout on Tuesday, January 18. The Mariners come into the bout with a record of 1-6. Joppatowne lost 64-25 in their recent league bout against Havre de Grace (Havre de Grace, MD)

Next up, the Tigers play the Elkton Golden Elks (Elkton, MD) in a Upper Chesapeake Bay - Chesapeake bout, on Thursday, January 20. Rising Sun will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record.
