Maryland High School Basketball - Edgewood tops Rising Sun
February 10, 2022: Edgewood, MD 21040 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Edgewood Rams (Edgewood, MD) and the visiting Rising Sun Tigers (North East, MD), saw Edgewood's basketball squad knock off Rising Sun by a tally of 65-50.
With the victory, Edgewood improves its record to 12-5 on the campaign. The Rams host Joppatowne (Joppa, MD) to play the Mariners in a Upper Chesapeake Bay - Susquehanna challenge on Monday, February 14. The Mariners come into the challenge with a record of 1-13. Joppatowne lost 51-28 in their recent league challenge against North Harford (Pylesville, MD)
Next up, the Tigers play the Elkton Golden Elks (Elkton, MD) in a Upper Chesapeake Bay - Chesapeake challenge, on Tuesday, February 15. Rising Sun will attempt to improve on its 8-10 season record. The Golden Elks come into the challenge with a 10-7 record after their 40-28 non-league win over Perryville (Perryville, MD).
