The North Harford Hawks basketball team scored 42 points and held the visiting Rising Sun Tigers to 36 in the Hawks league triumph on Monday.

The Hawks now sport a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Joppatowne for a Upper Chesapeake Bay - Susquehanna contest on Thursday, February 10. North Harford will battle a Mariners team coming off a 49-14 league loss to Havre de Grace (Havre de Grace, MD). The Mariners record now stands at 1-12.

The Tigers (8-8) will now prepare for their bout against Elkton (Elkton, MD). The Golden Elks go into the Upper Chesapeake Bay - Chesapeake bout with a 8-7 record. In their last bout, Elkton was edged by Edgewood (Edgewood, MD), 42-41, in a non-league bout.
