Tennessee High School Basketball - Christian Brothers can't hold off Briarcrest Christian
January 13, 2023: Memphis, TN 38166 The Briarcrest Christian Saints basketball team scored 49 points and held the host Christian Brothers Purple Wave to 47 in the Saints league triumph on Friday.
The Saints now sport a 21-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cordova for a non-league contest on Monday, January 16. Briarcrest Christian will battle a Wolves team coming off a 71-68 league win over Southwind (Memphis, TN). The Wolves record now stands at 9-5.
The Purple Wave (14-4) will now prepare for their contest against Memphis East (Memphis, TN). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 15-5 record. In their last contest, Memphis East nudged Kingsbury (Memphis, TN), 86-21, in a league contest.
