Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Paradise Valley Trojans (Phoenix, AZ) and the visiting Willow Canyon Wildcats (Surprise, AZ), saw Paradise Valley's basketball squad hold off Willow Canyon by a tally of 65-58.

With the victory, Paradise Valley improves its record to 7-14 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Sunrise Mountain (Peoria, AZ) to confront the Mustangs in a 5A Northwest challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 10-9. Sunrise Mountain won 69-66 in their recent league challenge against Centennial (Peoria, AZ)

Next up, the Wildcats confront the Ironwood Eagles (Glendale, AZ) in a 5A Northwest challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Willow Canyon will attempt to improve on its 13-9 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 13-5 record after their 58-55 league win over Apollo (Glendale, AZ).
