Arizona High School Basketball - Sunrise Mountain tops Paradise Valley

Sunrise Mountain Mustangs (Peoria, AZ) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Paradise Valley Trojans (Phoenix, AZ), 68-50 in a league bout.

With the victory, Sunrise Mountain upgrades its record to 11-9 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Apollo (Glendale, AZ) to play the Hawks in a 5A Northwest bout on Monday, January 23. The Hawks come into the bout with a record of 11-10. Apollo won 82-71 in their recent league bout against Paradise Valley (Phoenix, AZ)

Next up, the Trojans play the Apollo Hawks (Glendale, AZ) in a 5A Northwest bout, on Thursday, January 19. Paradise Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 7-15 season record. The Hawks come into the bout with a 10-10 record after their 58-55 league loss to Ironwood (Glendale, AZ).
