The Apollo Hawks (Glendale, AZ) basketball crushed the visiting Paradise Valley Trojans (Phoenix, AZ), 91-45 in Thursday's league test.

The Hawks (8-9) will now prepare for their test against Buckeye (Buckeye, AZ). The Hawks go into the non-league test with a 7-7 record.

The Trojans now own a 5-12 record. They play next when they travel to Willow Canyon for a 5A Northwest test on Saturday, January 7. Paradise Valley will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 94-60 league loss to Sunrise Mountain (Peoria, AZ). The Wildcats record now stands at 12-6.
