The Highland Tech Rams basketball team (Gastonia, NC), was routed 57-16 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Bessemer City Yellow Jackets (Bessemer City, NC)

The Yellow Jackets now sport a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Shelby for a 1A/2A Conference 40 battle on Wednesday, January 18. Bessemer City will battle a Golden Lions team coming off a 54-27 league win over Thomas Jefferson (Mooresboro, NC). The Golden Lions record now stands at 12-1.

The Rams (4-10) will now prepare for their battle against Bradford Prep (Charlotte, NC). The Bears come into the non-league battle with a 3-12 record.
