The East Gaston Warriors (Mt. Holly, NC) basketball knocked off the visiting Highland Tech Rams (Gastonia, NC), 38-29 in Friday's league test.

The Warriors (6-15) will now prepare for their test against Burns (Lawndale, NC). The Bulldogs go into the 1A/2A Conference 40 test with a 8-14 record. In their last test, Burns went down by Shelby (Shelby, NC), 60-24, in a league test.

The Rams now own a 7-16 record. They play next when they travel to Thomas Jefferson for a non-league test on Monday, February 13. Highland Tech will encounter a Gryphons squad coming off a 55-21 league win over Cherryville (Cherryville, NC). The Gryphons record now stands at 13-9.
