The East Gaston Warriors basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the host Cherryville Ironmen to 37 in the Warriors league victory on Tuesday.

The Warriors now sport a 3-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Highland Tech for a 1A/2A Conference 40 contest on Friday, January 20. East Gaston will battle a Rams team coming off a 47-23 non-league win over Bradford Prep (Charlotte, NC). The Rams record now stands at 5-10.

The Ironmen (2-14) will now prepare for their contest against Pinnacle Classical Academy (Shelby, NC). The Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 6-4 record.
