The Tekamah-Herman Tigers basketball squad (Tekamah, NE), lost 42-25 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Lyons-Decatur Northeast Cougars (Lyons, NE)

With the victory, Lyons-Decatur Northeast advances its record to 5-8 on the year. The Cougars travel to Oakland-Craig (Oakland, NE) to meet the Knights in a non-league battle on Friday, January 17. The Knights enter the battle with a record of 13-1. Oakland-Craig won 64-30 in their recent non-league battle against Bancroft-Rosalie (Bancroft, NE)

The Tigers now own a 1-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Madison for a non-league battle on Friday, January 17. Tekamah-Herman will meet a Dragons squad coming off a 44-36 non-league win over Walthill (Walthill, NE). The Dragons record now stands at 6-7.
