The Pender Pendragons (Pender, NE) basketball crushed the host Lyons-Decatur Northeast Cougars (Lyons, NE), 69-17 in Thursday's league bout.

The Pendragons now possess a 13-0 record. They play next when they travel to Malcolm for a non-league bout on Saturday, January 11. Pender will play a Clippers team coming off a 52-36 non-league loss to Milford (Milford, NE). The Clippers record now stands at 5-4.

With the loss, Lyons-Decatur Northeast falls to 4-7 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to West Point-Beemer (West Point, NE) to play the Cadets in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 11.
