Arizona High School Basketball - Mica Mountain beaten by Salpointe Catholic

The Salpointe Catholic Lancers were victorious over the visiting Mica Mountain Thunderbolts basketball squad by a final score of 46-27 in Wednesday's league outing.

Next, the Lancers clash with the Ironwood Ridge Nighthawks (Tucson, AZ) in a 4A Kino game, on Friday, January 16. Salpointe Catholic will attempt to move on its 16-2 season record. The Nighthawks go into the game with a 9-9 record after their 55-44 league win over Walden Grove (Sahuarita, AZ).

With the loss, Mica Mountain falls to 11-7 on the campaign. The Thunderbolts travel to Tucson High Magnet School (Tucson, AZ) to clash with the Badgers in a non-league outing on Friday, January 16. The Badgers come into the bout with a record of 7-10. Tucson High Magnet School lost 48-45 in their recent non-league bout against Sahuaro (Tucson, AZ)
