Delaware High School Basketball - Polytech holds off Dover
January 17, 2023: Dover, DE 19901 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Polytech Panthers (Woodside, DE) and the host Dover Senators (Dover, DE), saw Polytech's basketball squad hold off Dover by a tally of 55-52.
With the victory, Polytech improves its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Sussex Tech (Georgetown, DE) to confront the Ravens in a Henlopen - Northern challenge on Thursday, January 19. The Ravens come into the challenge with a record of 3-8. Sussex Tech lost 50-39 in their recent league challenge against Sussex Central (Georgetown, DE)
Next up, the Senators confront the Cape Henlopen Vikings (Lewes, DE) in a Henlopen - Northern challenge, on Thursday, January 19. Dover will attempt to improve on its 9-4 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 7-3 record after their 69-61 league loss to Caesar Rodney (Camden, DE).
