The Ponchatoula Green Wave ran past the host Hammond Tornadoes basketball team by a final score of 75-59 in Tuesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Green Wave face the Mandeville Skippers (Mandeville, LA) in a 5A District 6 game, on Friday, January 27. Ponchatoula will attempt to move on its 18-6 season record.

With the defeat, Hammond moves to 14-6 on the year. The Tornadoes host Fontainebleau (Mandeville, LA) to face the Bulldogs in a 5A District 6 game on Friday, January 20.
