In Saturday's non-league match, the host Ponchatoula Green Wave basketball team scored a decisive 73-44 triumph over the Hammond Tornadoes.

In their next game, the Green Wave meet the Walker Wildcats (Walker, LA) in a non-league match, on Thursday, December 22. Ponchatoula will attempt to better on its 9-4 season record.
