The Cornerstone Charter Cardinals defeated the host Bethany Community Wolves basketball squad by a final score of 52-38 in Friday's league outing.

Next, the Cardinals clash with the Leadership Academy Falcons (Kernersville, NC) in a 1A Northwest Piedmont outing, on Tuesday, January 21. Cornerstone Charter will attempt to upgrade on its 9-6 season record. The Falcons come into the outing with a 12-2 record after their 65-42 league loss to Bishop McGuinness (Kernersville, NC).

The Wolves (3-17) will now prepare for their outing against Piedmont Classical (Browns Summit, NC). The Bobcats come into the 1A Northwest Piedmont outing with a 4-8 record. In their last outing, Piedmont Classical was defeated by College Prep & Leadership Academy (Jamestown, NC), 69-52, in a league outing.
