In Friday's league contest, the visiting Bishop McGuinness Villains basketball team scored a big 55-25 triumph over the Cornerstone Charter Cardinals.

The Villains (6-0) will now prepare for their contest against Western Alamance (Elon, NC). The Warriors go into the non-league contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Western Alamance smashed Providence Grove (Franklinville, NC), 64-56, in a non-league contest.
