In Friday's league test, the Carver Yellowjackets (Winston-Salem, NC) basketball squad trounced the host Cornerstone Charter Cardinals (Greensboro, NC), by a score of 82-53.

Next, the Yellowjackets clash with the Piedmont Classical Bobcats (Browns Summit, NC) in a 1A Northwest Piedmont test, on Tuesday, February 4. Carver will attempt to improve on its 13-7 season record.

The Cardinals (11-9) will now prepare for their test against Phoenix Academy (High Point, NC). The Firebirds come into the non-league test with a 6-15 record. In their last test, Phoenix Academy bounced Triad Math and Science Academy (Greensboro, NC), 66-44, in a non-league test.
