The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Dixie Flyers (St. George, UT) and the host Cedar Reds (Cedar City, UT), observed Dixie's basketball team knock off Cedar by a score of 68-52.

The Flyers (12-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Crimson Cliffs (Washington, UT). The Mustangs come into the 4A Region 9 challenge with a 11-5 record. In their last challenge, Crimson Cliffs prevailed over Pine View (St. George, UT), 59-41, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Reds encounter the Hurricane Tigers (Hurricane, UT) in a 4A Region 9 challenge, on Wednesday, January 22. Cedar will attempt to improve on its 2-16 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 10-7 record after their 67-51 league win over Pine View (St. George, UT).
