The New Covenant Gryphons (Lynchburg, VA) basketball were winner over the host Lynchburg HomeSchool Patriots (Lynchburg, VA), 51-43 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Gryphons now possess a 9-4 record. They play next when they travel to Westover Christian Academy for a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 21. New Covenant will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 48-31 league win over Timberlake Christian (Forest, VA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-4.

With the loss, Lynchburg HomeSchool falls to 1-6 on the campaign. The Patriots host State Line HomeSchool Rush (Galax, VA) to play the Rush in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 18.
