Yosemite Badgers (Oakhurst, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Riverdale Cowboys (Riverdale, CA), 53-48 in a league bout.

With the win, Yosemite upgrades its record to 5-15 on the season. The Badgers host Fowler (Fowler, CA) to play the Redcats in a Northwest Sequoia bout on Friday, January 20. The Redcats go into the bout with a record of 12-8. Fowler won 59-46 in their recent league bout against Minarets (O'Neals, CA)

Next up, the Cowboys play the Chowchilla Tribe (Chowchilla, CA) in a Northwest Sequoia bout, on Friday, January 20. Riverdale will attempt to upgrade on its 6-12 season record. The Tribe go into the bout with a 10-10 record after their 76-37 league loss to Fresno Christian (Fresno, CA).
