California High School Basketball - Sierra crushes Yosemite

February 3, 2023: Oakhurst, CA 93644

Sierra Chieftains (Tollhouse, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Yosemite Badgers (Oakhurst, CA), 77-45 in a league bout.

With the win, Sierra upgrades its record to 22-4 on the season. The Chieftains host Chowchilla (Chowchilla, CA) to play the Tribe in a Northwest Sequoia bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Tribe go into the bout with a record of 14-12. Chowchilla won 68-45 in their recent league bout against Minarets (O'Neals, CA)

Next up, the Badgers play the Fresno Christian Eagles (Fresno, CA) in a Northwest Sequoia bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Yosemite will attempt to upgrade on its 7-20 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 18-8 record after their 89-28 league win over Parlier (Parlier, CA).
