In Friday's non-league match, the host Liberty Hawks basketball team scored a tight 44-42 triumph over the Yosemite Badgers.

In their next game, the Hawks meet the Madera Coyotes (Madera, CA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, December 3. Liberty will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Coyotes enter the match with a 4-4 record after their 41-27 non-league win over Coalinga (Coalinga, CA).
