The Greyhounds now possess a 2-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tuckerman for a 3A Region 2 battle on Friday, January 5. Newport will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 54-51 non-league loss to Rivercrest (Wilson, AR). The Bulldogs record now stands at 12-8.
The Greyhounds (2-10) will now prepare for their battle against Mountain View (Mountain View, AR). The Yellowjackets come into the 3A Region 2 battle with a 13-6 record. In their last battle, Mountain View beat Hoxie (Hoxie, AR), 81-59, in a league battle.
