In Friday's league outing, the Bloom Blazing Trojan (Chicago Heights, IL) basketball squad nipped the host Thornton Wildcats (Harvey, IL), by a margin of 57-52.

The Blazing Trojan (14-5) will now prepare for their outing against Homewood-Flossmoor (Flossmoor, IL). The Vikings go into the non-league outing with a 13-8 record. In their last outing, Homewood-Flossmoor got by Sandburg (Orland Park, IL), 77-68, in a league outing.
