The Thornton Wildcats basketball team (Harvey, IL), was nudged 51-46 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Thornwood Thunderbirds (South Holland, IL)

The Thunderbirds now possess a 19-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Oak Lawn for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 14. Thornwood will confront a Spartans team coming off a 69-66 non-league loss to Riverside-Brookfield (Riverside, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 20-9.
