Minnesota High School Basketball - Maple Grove crushes Coon Rapids
January 20, 2023: Coon Rapids, MN 55433 Maple Grove Crimson (Maple Grove, MN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Coon Rapids Cardinals (Coon Rapids, MN), 72-41 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Maple Grove upgrades its record to 11-2 on the season. The Crimson host Champlin Park (Champlin, MN) to clash with the Rebels in a AAAA Section 5 bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Rebels go into the bout with a record of 5-7. Champlin Park lost 75-43 in their recent non-league bout against Wayzata (Plymouth, MN)
Next up, the Cardinals clash with the Osseo Orioles (Osseo, MN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Coon Rapids will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Orioles go into the bout with a 5-8 record after their 94-73 non-league loss to Totino-Grace (Fridley, MN).
