The Centennial Cougars basketball team scored 94 points and held the host Coon Rapids Cardinals to 78 in the Cougars league triumph on Tuesday.

The Cougars now sport a 5-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Duluth East for a AAAA Section 7 contest on Friday, February 24.

The Cardinals (5-18) will now prepare for their contest against Rogers (Rogers, MN). The Royals enter the non-league contest with a 7-15 record. In their last contest, Rogers was defeated by Elk River (Elk River, MN), 65-61, in a league contest.
