The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Overton Mustangs (Overton, TX) and the visiting New Summerfield Hornets (New Summerfield, TX), observed Overton's basketball team overwhelm New Summerfield by a score of 73-32.

The Mustangs (16-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Carlisle (Price, TX). The Indians come into the 2A Region III District 22 challenge with a 4-22 record. In their last challenge, Carlisle was routed by Cushing (Cushing, TX), 50-35, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Hornets battle the Mt. Enterprise Wildcats (Mt. Enterprise, TX) in a 2A Region III District 22 challenge, on Friday, January 24.
