In Tuesday's league test, the Lincoln Charter Eagles (Denver, NC) basketball squad trounced the host Mountain Island Charter Raptors (Mt. Holly, NC), by a score of 50-24.

Next, the Eagles encounter the Valor Preparatory Academy Owls (Concord, NC) in a non-league test, on Thursday, January 23. Lincoln Charter will attempt to improve on its 9-6 season record. The Owls come into the test with a 1-10 record after their 29-28 league loss to Sugar Creek Charter (Charlotte, NC).

The Raptors (6-7) will now prepare for their test against Community School of Davidson (Davidson, NC). The Spartans come into the 1A/2A Catawba Shores test with a 11-5 record. In their last test, Community School of Davidson bounced Pine Lake Prep (Mooresville, NC), 44-27, in a league test.
