North Carolina High School Basketball - Community School of Davidson overwhelms Mountain Island Charter

The Community School of Davidson Spartans basketball team scored 50 points and limited the visiting Mountain Island Charter Raptors to 20 in the Spartans league triumph on Friday.

The Spartans now have a 12-5 record. They play next when they travel to Lincoln Charter for a 1A/2A Catawba Shores game on Tuesday, January 28. Community School of Davidson will confront a Eagles team coming off a 60-21 league win over Corvian Community (Charlotte, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 10-6.

With the loss, Mountain Island Charter falls to 6-8 on the campaign. The Raptors travel to Christ the King (Huntersville, NC) to confront the Crusaders in a 1A/2A Catawba Shores game on Tuesday, January 28. The Crusaders go into the game with a record of 11-4. Christ the King won 65-8 in their recent league game against Pine Lake Prep (Mooresville, NC)
