January 23, 2024: Mountain View, AR 72560 In Tuesday's league outing, the Mountain View Yellowjackets (Mountain View, AR) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Hoxie Mustangs (Hoxie, AR), by a margin of 76-40.
The Yellowjackets (17-6) will now prepare for their outing against Salem (Salem, AR). The Greyhounds go into the 3A Region 2 outing with a 3-13 record. In their last outing, Salem was trounced by Newport (Newport, AR), 49-48, in a league outing.
The Mustangs now own a 5-10 record. They play next when they travel to Cave City for a 3A Region 2 outing on Friday, January 26. Hoxie will clash with a Cavemen squad coming off a 60-45 league loss to Melbourne (Melbourne, AR). The Cavemen record now stands at 9-12.
