Arkansas High School Basketball - Walnut Ridge tipped by Mountain View
December 5, 2023: Mountain View, AR 72560 The Mountain View Yellowjackets basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Walnut Ridge Bobcats to 56 in the Yellowjackets league triumph on Tuesday.
The Yellowjackets now sport a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Highland for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 9. Mountain View will meet a Rebels team coming off a 64-37 non-league loss to Izard County (Brockwell, AR). The Rebels record now stands at 5-2.
The Bobcats (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Salem (Salem, AR). The Greyhounds enter the 3A Region 2 contest with a 0-4 record. In their last contest, Salem was nudged by Cave City (Cave City, AR), 61-39, in a league contest.
