January 5, 2024: Cave City, AR 72521 In Friday's league outing, the Cave City Cavemen (Cave City, AR) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Walnut Ridge Bobcats (Walnut Ridge, AR), by a margin of 61-32.
The Cavemen (7-10) will now prepare for their outing against Hoxie (Hoxie, AR). The Mustangs go into the 3A Region 2 outing with a 5-5 record. In their last outing, Hoxie smashed Melbourne (Melbourne, AR), 78-50, in a league outing.
The Bobcats now own a 7-5 record. They play next when they host Melbourne for a 3A Region 2 outing on Tuesday, January 9. Walnut Ridge will clash with a Bearkatz squad coming off a 56-53 non-league loss to Rivercrest (Wilson, AR). The Bearkatz record now stands at 7-10.
