Arkansas High School Basketball - Mountain View tops Melbourne
December 12, 2023: Melbourne, AR 72556 Mountain View Yellowjackets (Mountain View, AR) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Melbourne Bearkatz (Melbourne, AR), 70-59 in a league bout.
With the victory, Mountain View upgrades its record to 11-5 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets host Tuckerman (Tuckerman, AR) to play the Bulldogs in a 3A Region 2 bout on Friday, December 15. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 9-6. Tuckerman won 74-46 in their recent league bout against Cave City (Cave City, AR)
Next up, the Bearkatz play the Tuckerman Bulldogs (Tuckerman, AR) in a 3A Region 2 bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Melbourne will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record.
