In Thursday's league contest, the host South Guilford HomeSchool Cougars basketball team scored a close 56-52 triumph over the Greater Cabarrus Stallions Stallions.

The Cougars (20-4) will now prepare for their contest against Cathedral Oak Academy (Clemmons, NC). The - go into the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Cathedral Oak Academy was tipped by Forsyth Home Educators (Winston-Salem, NC), 52-43, in a non-league contest.
