The South Charlotte Thunder basketball squad (Matthews, NC), was nudged 39-32 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Greater Cabarrus Stallions Stallions (Concord, NC)

With the victory, Greater Cabarrus Stallions advances its record to 5-6 on the year. The Stallions travel to Corvian Community (Charlotte, NC) to meet the Cardinals in a non-league battle on Thursday, December 12. The Cardinals enter the battle with a record of 0-2. Corvian Community lost 66-54 in their recent non-league battle against Varsity Opponent (, )

The Thunder now own a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Forsyth Home Educators for a battle on Friday, December 13. South Charlotte will meet a Hawks squad coming off a 55-13 non-league win over JV Opponent (, ). The Hawks record now stands at 3-3.
