North Carolina High School Basketball - Greater Cabarrus Stallions nips South Charlotte

In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Greater Cabarrus Stallions Stallions basketball team scored a close 57-51 win over the South Charlotte Thunder.

The Stallions (15-12) will now prepare for their contest against Fairfax HomeSchool (Fairfax, VA). The Hawks come into the non-league contest with a 21-4 record. In their last contest, Fairfax HomeSchool edged Loudoun County HomeSchool (Lovettsville, VA), 49-48, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Thunder battle the Oak Forest Warriors (Wake Forest, NC) in a non-league contest, on Monday, March 3. South Charlotte will attempt to better on its 9-17 season record. The Warriors come into the contest with a 8-5 record after their 62-27 non-league win over Faith HomeSchool (Fayetteville, NC).
