Illinois High School Basketball - Salt Fork nips Westville
January 24, 2023: Westville, IL 61883 Salt Fork Storm (Sidell, IL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Westville Tigers (Westville, IL), 58-54 in a league bout.
With the win, Salt Fork upgrades its record to 20-2 on the season. The Storm travel to Iroquois West (Gilman, IL) to play the Raiders in a Vermilion Valley bout on Friday, January 27. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 17-3. Iroquois West won 68-36 in their recent league bout against Armstrong (Armstrong, IL)
Next up, the Tigers play the Watseka Warriors (Watseka, IL) in a Vermilion Valley bout, on Friday, January 27. Westville will attempt to upgrade on its 12-9 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 6-15 record after their 72-41 league loss to Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin (Bismarck, IL).
