February 10, 2023: Armstrong, IL 61812 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Westville Tigers (Westville, IL) and the host Armstrong Trojans (Armstrong, IL), saw Westville's basketball squad overcome Armstrong by a tally of 52-36.
With the victory, Westville improves its record to 18-12 on the campaign. The Tigers host Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin (Bismarck, IL) to confront the Blue Devils in a Vermilion Valley challenge on Tuesday, February 14. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a record of 24-6. Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin won 60-53 in their recent non-league challenge against Bloomington (Bloomington, IL)
Next up, the Trojans confront the Georgetown-Ridge Farm Buffaloes (Georgetown, IL) in a Vermilion Valley challenge, on Tuesday, February 14. Armstrong will attempt to improve on its 9-17 season record. The Buffaloes come into the challenge with a 6-20 record after their 75-48 league loss to Hoopeston (Hoopeston, IL).
