The Hernando Leopards were victorious over the host Central Bears basketball squad by a final score of 39-31 in Friday's league outing.

Next, the Leopards face the Nature Coast Tech Sharks (Brooksville, FL) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, January 28. Hernando will attempt to upgrade on its 10-10 season record. The Sharks enter the outing with a 7-10 record after their 60-17 non-league loss to Springstead (Spring Hill, FL).

The Bears (4-17) will now prepare for their outing against Citrus (Inverness, FL). The Hurricanes enter the 4A District 6 outing with a 8-13 record. In their last outing, Citrus defeated Angeline Academy of Innovation (Land O' Lakes, FL), 43-12, in a non-league challenge.
